Summer in the South Hams

Oops, just realised it’s been 4 months since I last wrote a blog post!
It’s been a very busy summer here, as the calendar here comes alive in the summer with Fetes and Fairs in every village, with several events going on every weekend! And Festivals, Kingsbridge Fair Week, Regattas and the Agricultural Shows! It’s a great place to be in the summer, whether you’re a Photographer or a spectator/taking part.
I also won tickets to Somersault Festival in North Devon, which was a fanastic and inspirational weekend! It was very interesting participating and enjoying the festival, rather than seeing it through a lens, although I did spend the majority of my time in the LG Sponsored Photography Tent.
So please bear with me as I catch up on my backlog of images. I have put up a small selection of most events, and will add to these as time allows.

Kingsbridge Food & Music Festival 2015

I really love Photographing music, and local music events and festivals are a great opportunity to Photograph a whole range of acts. We are incredibly lucky here to have lots of talented musicians in a whole range of genres. So local events never fail to deliver.
The Kingsbridge Food and Music festival 2015 was a roaring success once again, and once again I had great fun Photographing it. The weather was (mostly) fantastic and the crowds were lively. I had as much fun photographing and watching the crowds dancing and having fun, than I did the bands and musicians. Even in the pouring rain on the Saturday evening the crowds were dancing and singing and jumping, despite being soaked through to the skin. The music and atmosphere, and of course the fantastic selection of local food stalls, makes this a very special festival!

Now to find some more events to give me that enjoyment and buzz to fill the gap until next year! 😉 If you hear of any events needing Photographers, please contact me.

Sorry for any disruption, I am, once again, moving things around and changing web providers. I tried shootproof, but it didn’t suit what I wanted, so still on the hunt.
For now I’m using Flickr and a plugin called “Slickr Flickr” to put galleries on my pages. I am putting each event on a page with a gallery from my flickr account.
You can find each event on the menu on the left <—–
I currently have limited option for buying images, you can either send me an email to stating the image names you would like, I can sort out print orders/email downloads, and send you a paypal invoice.
Or you can buy them here

Hello world!

Exciting developments on the Photography front with new computer arriving, complete with 24″ screen (long overdue), a trial of lightroom undertaken and a re-design of my website. Please bear with me, I’m currently switching over providers and exploring a few different options.
At the moment I’m trialing ShootProof, set up as a subdomain. My most recent images have been put on there, and I hope to put more photos on soon. If you find that the photos you wanted to see aren’t on there, just send me a message and I’ll prioritise those.
my photos can be found here
Just a quick update from me today, as I’m sure you’d rather I spent my time on images rather than waffling 😉
